Sticky Words Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data, the precautions we take to protect it, and your rights regarding your personal data.
1) What this Privacy Policy covers
This Privacy Policy covers all personal information that comes into the Sticky Words business.
Any information that can be used to personally identify an individual is classed as personal data. That includes names, email addresses, phone numbers and more.
Personal information does not have to reveal a person’s identity on its own. It can also be used in conjunction with other information. For instance, you might not be able to identify someone if you only know their place of work. But if you know their place of work AND their job title, you could use both pieces of information to find out who they are.
Any information that falls under these categories is classed as personal data and is covered by this Privacy Policy.
2) What personal data we collect and why
We only collect basic personal data that allows us to provide our services to you.
When you contact us, we ask that you provide your name and email address. This is so that we can respond to your enquiries promptly and politely. For example, when you contact us via our website submission form.
If communicating via email proves difficult, we may ask for your telephone number or other contact details. This is so that we can discuss in greater depth the needs of your projects.
You may provide us with any other information that you see as necessary to understanding your needs. However, we don’t ask you to provide any additional information that you do not wish to.
3) What we do (and don’t do) with your personal data
We use your personal data to do business with you, and we keep it safe at all times.
Your personal data will be used solely for business purposes. We won’t contact you without good reason e.g. responding to your emails or following up on an enquiry.
We do not collect personal data for marketing purposes and we do not sell personal data to any other organisations. If this ever changes, we would need your permission to market to you or sell your data.
All personal data will be kept safe with advanced security features to prevent unauthorised access. If there was ever a breach, you would be notified upon discovery.
If Sticky Words was to be bought by a third party, your personal data would be transferred to the buyer as an asset. However, all personal data would remain protected and must be dealt with under the terms of this Privacy Policy.
4) Your right to access your data
You have full control over any personal data that you share with us.
